At Kava Pure we love kava from all areas of the Pacific. But the kava grown on the islands of Vanuatu are undoubtedly the best.
They are the only Pacific nation to have strict pricing controls to protect farmers from exploitation, biosecurity controls for proper processing of kava, and strict export controls to make sure only the best kava is exported.
On top of this, the two main kava cultivars; Bogaru and Melo Melo, have the highest kavalactone content, and an amazing chemotype profile.
All our kava products are packaged in a foil-lined bag to seal out moisture and seal in the fresh taste we work so hard to get.
We suggest storing kava in the freezer for long-term storage. If stored in a cool dry place, in our sealed packet it will be fresh for up to a year. But once opened it should be consumed within a couple of months.
For one person for one sitting we would recommend starting out with 2 heaped tablespoons for 1L of water. You can add more or less once you know what you like.
